  Welcome Back
To School!

Yes! It’s the start of another school year!

We hoped that you enjoyed a restful summer with your family and friends. And for those who are still in school, we bet you can’t wait until vacation! We wanted to take this opportunity to welcome all educators (and students) back to school! We also wanted to thank you for using Voki in your classroom. Your support is always appreciated!

So, welcome back and hope you have a GREAT year!

 I am a Tech-Savvy Teacher!
Last school year, Jennifer Bouffard’s school district decided to use Project Based Learning (PBL) with their 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. The premise of PBL is that students are engaged through a driving question, an authentic problem or question they need to answer through in-depth inquiry. Want to know what she did?

Read all about it here.

It’s not easy being a teacher. But what about a tech-savvy teacher? There are tons of applications, tools, and sites out there that teachers are beginning to use in class: Google Maps, EduBlogs, BrainPop, Wikispaces, etc. (Now, let’s not forget about Voki!)

We put together a list of signs that you are a techie teacher and have the necessary skills to be one! Check it out here!
